Display Terms
This contract sets out:
• your legal rights and responsibilities;
• our legal rights and responsibilities; and
• certain key information required by law.
In this contract:
• ‘We’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ means EggRider Limited; and
• ‘You’ or ‘your’ means the person using our site to buy goods from us.
• "Product", "Products", "Goods" means any good or service offered by EggRider Ltd.
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms and Conditions”) govern the sale of products by EggRider Ltd to You. EggRider Ltd. is a company registered in England & Wales and our registered address is registered at C/O Eaccounts Ltd Ground Floor Cardigan House, Castle Court, Swansea, West Glamorgan, United Kingdom, SA7 9LA.
1.2 We respect your privacy. Please carefully review the privacy policy for crucial details regarding our privacy practices.
1.3 Prior to making any purchases from the Site, kindly review these Terms and Conditions thoroughly. By ordering products from the Site, you signify your acceptance and agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. They constitute a legal agreement between you and us and can only be altered with our explicit consent.
1.4 The right to modify these Terms and Conditions without prior notice is reserved, and such changes will be updated on the Site. However, any alterations will not impact any purchases made before the changes are enacted.
2. Ordering
2.1 Before purchasing, we highly recommend checking the compatibility with EggRider display: more details can be found on EggRider e-manual. If unsure, you should submit the compatibility form to verify it with the EggRider Support team, although this assessment may not guarantee 100% accuracy.
2.1.1 If you choose to return the EggRider due to the compatibility issues, the terms and conditions specified in Section 5 - Refunds will govern the process. This means that, for instance, EggRider Ltd. will not cover the return shipping costs.
2.2 You can place an order to acquire a product featured for sale on the Site by following the onscreen instructions after selecting the desired product. You'll have a chance to review and rectify any input mistakes in your order until you finalise and submit it.
2.3 Upon submitting an order to us, you will receive an order acknowledgement email. Kindly note that this email serves as an acknowledgment and does not indicate acceptance of your order.
2.4 Your order's acceptance and the establishment of a contract between us will occur upon our dispatch confirmation email indicating that the products you've ordered are being shipped, unless we've notified you of non-acceptance of your order or you've previously canceled it.
2.5 Upon dispatch of your order, you will receive a tracking number to monitor its progress.
2.6 Order Processing Notice: Kindly be informed that orders are usually processed and prepared for shipping within a span of 1 to 2 business days. Business days refer to Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. While we endeavor to adhere to these processing times, please note that during busy periods, processing may extend beyond this timeframe.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 The product prices will align with the quotations displayed on our Sites at various intervals, except in instances of evident errors. VAT is applied only to orders within the UK. For international orders, VAT will be applied by customs, and the amount may vary depending on the destination country. However, the quoted price on our sites does not cover delivery charges, which are separately quoted on our Sites.
3.2 Prices are subject to change at any time before the acceptance of your order, but not thereafter.
3.3 Your order cannot be accepted until the full payment has been made.
3.4 We accept the following payment options: PayPal, Card (Visa & MasterCard) & Direct Bank Transfers.
3.4.1 If you would like to pay by card, please choose PayPal as the payment method at the checkout. When you reach the "Confirm your order" section, you can enter your card details directly instead of logging into PayPal.
3.5.We'll make every reasonable effort to secure the information provided during payment for goods, using an encrypted and secure payment method. Yet, unless due to our negligence, any failure on our part to adhere to this agreement or our privacy policy or a breach of our responsibilities under relevant laws won't hold us legally accountable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access by a third party to the information you've shared with us.
3.6 We advise against sharing your payment card details, including via email or chat, with anyone, including us. We cannot assume responsibility for any losses incurred while transmitting information to us via internet links, email, or chat. Any such losses will solely be your responsibility.
3.7 If payment is not received by us and you've already received the goods, you must:
3.7.1 Settle payment for the goods promptly, ideally within 30 days; or
3.7.2 Return the goods to us within 30 days. During this time, ensure the goods are in your possession, handle them with reasonable care (including following any provided instructions or manuals), and refrain from using them before returning them to us.
3.7.3 Should you fail to pay for the goods and neglect to return them, we reserve the right to retrieve the goods at your expense. We'll make an effort to reach out and inform you before proceeding with this action.
4. Delivery
4.1 Any delivery date provided on the Sites or within any document or email is an approximation and does not signify a guarantee of delivery on a specific date.
4.2 We offer shipping worldwide. Once you've chosen a delivery service from the available options on EggRider online shop, the total amount due will include the applicable delivery charges.
4.3 We will ship to the address provided in your order;
4.3.1 If the payment has been made via Paypal, it's not possible to alter your shipping address once the order has been placed.
4.3.2 If the payment has been made via a bank transfer, the address can be amended unless the EggRider team already shipped the product to the previous address given by you.
4.4 Delivery times can vary depending on the courier that has been selected. It is worth noting that during busy periods, delivery times may extend beyond the timeframe given below:
RoyalMail estimated delivery times:
UK - 1-3 working days
Europe - 7-15 working days
Rest of the world - 10-20 working days.
DHL estimated delivery times:
UK - 1-2 working days
Europe - 3-5 working days
Rest of the world - 3-6 working days.
4.5 For international orders, we will dispatch via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed for higher value items (if the order quantity is more than 3) or DHL shipping if selected. Occasionally, we may use a different carrier depending where we need to ship to product.
4.6 For international orders including Europe, it is normal to not get tracking updates when the package is with customs. This could take up to 20 days.
4.7 The title and risk of loss transfer to you when we deliver the products to the designated common carrier, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by us.
4.8 In cases of lost or damaged shipments, please promptly inform us. We'll investigate and work with the carrier to help resolve the issue. To address international lost orders, a minimum of 28 working days must transpire before the matter can be resolved.
4.9 In the case of a pre-ordered product, it will be shipped the day after we receive it from the manufacturer.
4.10 If a refund claim is initiated and the refund period elapses during our resolution process, we will still uphold the refund terms. However, this is subject to the customer maintaining regular and timely communication with us. If the customer does not respond to our messages or provide required information within 14 days of our initial response to their claim, unless both parties have agreed to an extended timeline, we reserve the right to close the refund claim and may no longer honour the refund terms.
5. Refunds
5.1 You have the option to cancel your order or return a product within your statutory rights.
5.2 Upon receiving your EggRider display, there's a 14-day window to request a return. After initiating the return request, you'll have an extra 14 days to ship the item back to us.
5.3 To be eligible for a full refund (excluding shipping cost), the item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and ideally in its original packaging.
5.4 Returns should be sent by post at your own expense. You may be liable if the value of the goods returned diminishes due to the handling of the goods (except when it was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods).
5.5 After receiving and inspecting the returned item,
5.5.1 If you have selected standard delivery and the order is from the UK, a full refund of the product cost (excluding any applicable custom clearance fees) will be granted if it meets the specified eligibility criteria as outlined in 5.2. However, if the product doesn't meet these criteria, a partial refund may be provided, reflecting the current value of the product, in accordance with our goodwill refund policy.
5.5.2 If you have selected “non-standard” delivery or if the order is not from the UK, the shipping cost will not be refunded.
5.6 The assessment process and the start of the refund payment, if condition 5.3 is met, might take up to 14 days. We'll utilize the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you've explicitly agreed to an alternative method. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
5.7 Reimbursement can only be made after we have received the good(s) back.
6. Warranties
6.1 EggRider products you've bought are covered by the specific warranty terms and exclusions that were in place at the time the products were shipped to you.
6.2 Our warranty covers all original components against defects in workmanship and materials (e.g. in case the product does not correspond with the description in the user manual or with an advertisement of the product) for a duration of 1 year.
6.3 The warranty remains valid even if the display is transferred to a new owner, given that condition 6.4 is fulfilled. Still the warranty period ends one year from the original purchase date of the EggRider display.
6.4 The warranty covers the product(s) bought directly from EggRider Ltd. If you purchased the EggRider display from a retailer other than EggRider Ltd, you'll need to reach out to that retailer as their warranty terms may vary. To avail warranty service, proof of purchase might be necessary.
6.5 The warranty does not cover damages or defects due to accidents; an incorrect installation of the EggRider by the user [e.g. broken bracket, the display connector guide is broken]; an improper or negligent use; operation or transformation of the product; unauthorised modifications: software or firmware modifications: normal wear and tear: failure to follow instructions.
6.6 Please make sure the serial number sticker remains attached to the EggRider. Removing it or having an unreadable serial number will void the warranty.
6.7 To claim warranty service, please contact us and you must provide the original proof of purchase and the serial number of the EggRider.
6.8 Upon receipt of the warranty claim, The EggRider internal team will assess the product and determine whether the issue is covered under the warranty. If approved, we will replace the product at our discretion.
6.9 EggRider Ltd does not offer repair services due to the absence of appropriate facilities. Additionally, we highly caution against opening or unsealing the EggRider display due to its complex design, which may result in unintended damage. Doing so will void the warranty.
6.10 EggRider Ltd is not responsible for any additional damages resulting from using or being unable to use the product covered by this warranty.
6.11 In the event that a warranty claim is made and the warranty period expires while we are in the process of resolving the issue, we will continue to honor the warranty terms. However, this is contingent on timely and ongoing communication from the customer. If the customer fails to respond to our communications or provide necessary information within 14 days from our initial response to their claim, we reserve the right to consider the warranty claim as closed and may no longer honor the warranty terms. This policy is in place to ensure efficient and effective resolution of warranty claims for all our customers.
6.12 EggRider Ltd reserves the right to modify or terminate this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
7. Nature of the Goods
7.1 The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you certain legal rights (also known as ‘statutory rights’). The goods that we provide to you must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
7.2. We are under a legal duty to supply you with goods that are in conformity with this contract.
7.3. The packaging of the goods may be different from that shown on the site.We try to make sure that all weights, sizes and measurements set out on the site are as accurate as poss
